Corporate Media vs. Democratization of Journalism

 Democratization (or democratisation) is the transition to a more democratic political regime. Corporate media is a term which refers to a system of mass media production, distribution, ownership, and funding which is dominated by corporations and their CEOs. They are totally different but the same at the same time. Media and journalism are neck and neck with each other. They are always getting information and telling other people. Media is good because it does helps people keep in touch but, again it's not because it starts a lot of mess. Media and journalism expands everyday. Its always going to be something for media and journalism to talk about in the world. They both are important to the universe. Both topics are necessary because if it wasn't for them then we would do have of the things we do now. They might give us a headache because they are always saying something but they are greatly appreciated. "These citizen journalists fight to create a well-informed public in which media also serves as moral education.". This quote is saying how they are trying to work together to make media and journalism better. "Developments in technologies have resulted in faster communication among people across the globe.". Speaking up for the people!

 "These women fear approaching the police because their complaints will either be disregarded or the officer may assault them as well." I'm speaking for the girls who don't have a voice that gets raped.A 13-year old girl who was gang raped and set on fire in Orai, India in October 2013. A women is raped every 22 minutes on average and that is horrible. These women that get raped have no voice and it is important for someone to speak for them. The police never really takes rapes seriously and they think people are lying when they say they got raped. "More than a quarter also believe a woman is at least partly responsible for being raped if she wears sexy or revealing clothing, or is drunk, the study found." This blog is about women getting blamed for their rape. People really never want to believe people when they say they have gotten raped. The messed up part about getting raped is when the police blame the victim about the tragedy that happened. It is not their fault at all that it happened. The people need a voice to speak for them because it is hard to talk about what happened. For the individuals who have gotten raped the worst part is repeating the same story who doesn't even believe you.

When I say I am speaking for people who have gotten raped I am talking about everyone. Men even get raped and their voices are never heard. It is sad that people do it to others. Its discussing and it should be put to rest. Men get raped because of who they are and it is unacceptable. It might be awkward but it does happen. Everybody needs a voice and I am the speaker.

Drugs started to effect the youths because they were testing the drugs out. The drugs spread around fast in the community. Yvonne didn't like what was happening so she decided to make a difference. Summarizing Yvonne Story

I would love to introduce this strong individual named Yvonne and she lives at this place called "the block". It is located in Australia. It is the ghetto and the government placed them there. She loves going to church and to help the youth. The  youth are doing drugs and she lost her oldest son to drugs. Yvonne made a youth club up because she is proud of the place where she lives. Yvonne said, "We do have the shops, the dreams, and do have a place where our young people can be proud of.". She made the youth group fun and interesting. The youth group was good for years then they ran out of money. She also sold her home and it was a project happening and they tore up everything.
